Air Sports Group Ensures Best International Safety Standards and Risk Assessment at The World Games 2022

The World Air Sports Federation (FAI) and the International Skydiving Commission (ISC), organisers of the Canopy Piloting event at The World Games held in Birmingham USA on July 7th - 12th 2022, called in long time partners ASG to ensure that the event was conducted to the highest safety level and also to obtain the necessary flight permits.

Officially recognised by The International Olympic Committee (IOC), The World Games takes place every four years following the Summer Olympic Games and is the pinnacle of competition for thousands of elite athletes worldwide, including air sports athletes competing in the Canopy Piloting discipline.

A complex sports aviation operation in a challenging environment, the Canopy Piloting event required special procedures and the highest level of safety standards. Owing to its unrivalled level of expertise and experience within special operations worldwide, ASG was able to utilise its officially accredited systems and procedures to ensure a safe event delivery. The procedures and processes introduced also facilitated in gaining the flight permits from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA).

“Air Sports Group has been a great partner in delivering the Birmingham 2022 World Games Canopy Piloting competition. Their exceptional and professional approach to safety and their practices and procedures are at the forefront of our industry. We look forward to continuing our long-standing partnership with ASG that enables us to provide a safe environment for air sports globally.”
